Digestion process:

  • It improves the child’s digestive system and gives relief from various ailments such as indigestion, heartburn, bloating, vomiting, intestinal gas, diarrhoea, dysentery, intestinal worms, etc.

Additional Information

Step 1 – Boil 200 ml of water.

Step 2 –  Now reduce the stove flame to sim and then add one gram (one Spoon of tisanes –  given along with the pack) of Arjuna Tisanes.

Step 3 – Leave it for 15 minutes or boil the water until it reduces to 50%.

Your fragrant Tisane is ready!

For sweetening the drink, you may use –

  • Sugarcane Jaggery or Palm Jaggery (Allow the jaggery to melt & then strain the tisanes before consumption)
  • Honey (honey is to be added only when the temperature reaches the warm state 50-60 degrees – this is to protect the nutrients of Honey)
  • It is preferable to drink without milk.
  • Children can drink Tulsi Tisanes twice a day to detox their system and boost their immunity.
  • It will work optimal if children can consume Tulsi Tisanes in the morning in an empty stomach and may repeat it in the evening around 4.00 PM (snacks time)

Dosage:

  • For adults 100 ml per serve – 2 times in a day
  • For children: two times in a day
  • 6 months – 1 year – 2-5 ml
  • 1-3 years – 5-15 ml
  • 4-6 years – 20-30 ml
  • 7-12 years – 35-60 ml
  • 13-16 years – 75 ml
  • 17 & Above – 100 ml
  • People who are allergic to herbs and spices
  • Kids below 6 months
  • It has been reported that holy basil may decrease blood sugar – this may be a concern for people who are hypoglycemic (low level of sugar in the blood)
  • Tulsi has mild blood thinning qualities
  • Regarding basil – most likely sweet culinary basil (Ocimum basilicum), it has been said: – Basil should be used cautiously by individuals with diabetes. – Basil may increase the hypoglycemic effects of insulin and/or oral antidiabetics; do not use it concurrently.
